Take aerodynamics to a whole new level! Specialized's Fusée Star Wheelset is exceptionally aerodynamic and also handles nicely in crosswinds. The secret is the Star hub, which yields 50% less frontal area than traditional hubs for a greater aero advantage than even tri-spoke wheels. Paired with the low-profile, seamless-aluminum aero rims, the hubs further fortify the wheels while increasing your pedaling efficiency, too, with incredible lateral rigidity. These wind-cheaters also boast custom DT Swiss AeroLite spokes with hidden nipples for even more free speed.
Roval's Star Hubs greatly strengthen the wheel and cut down on the frontal area to improve aerodynamics, too. Ingeniously, the hub has half the frontal area of standard hubs, and because it also makes the spokes much shorter, the wheels' lateral stiffness matches that of standard wheels.
Roval wheels feature nipples hidden in the rims which maximizes aerodynamics and spoke life while also improving spoke alignment and wheel durability. Roval nipples are also larger diameter for excellent strength.
Accepts Shimano 10-speed cassettes. To install Shimano or Campagnolo 9-/10-speed cassettes, you replace the cassette body on the wheel with the appropriate body, and then install the cassette (cassettes/bodies sold separately).
